Large conferences and events often become targets for companies seeking to take advantage of attendees. We have been made aware by a couple of delegates that they have received emails from [email protected] asking to confirm arrival and departure dates for their stay in Uppsala. This is a scam, and we kindly ask you to delete the email.

If you have booked accommodation through the ISBNPA registration site, you have received a confirmation email from registration[at]isbnpa.org and the respective hotel stating the dates of your booking. No third-party travel agency will reach out to you if you have booked your hotel through ISBNPA and its conference management company Venue West Conference Services (Vancouver, Canada).

Please rest assured that your data is safe and has not been shared with third parties other than for the purpose of your hotel reservation. Your name and organization, however, are shared on the web program in case you are presenting at the conference.
